This article provides information about the peculiarities of the verbs of Uzbek language – turmoq, yurmoq, yotmoq, o‘tirmoq – in expressing the meaning of tense with grammatical forms. Based on the analysis, it was revealed that this peculiarity is related to the semantics of the mentioned verbs. Also, from a practical point of view, models have been developed for tagging the meaning of time in these verbs in corpus texts.
